  WHAT DOES THE 925 STAMP STAND FOR?

When the 925 code is stamped onto Sterling Silver it indicates Authenticity.

The stamp verfies the item is made with no less than 92.5% Silver and assures quality of substance.

  HOW DO I CARE FOR MY SILVER JEWELLERY?

Sterling Silver can tarnish (oxidise) with time.

This is a common trait of Sterling Silver.

Polishing your Sterling Sterling reguarly with a Silver cloth, and then rinsing the item

with clean warm water will assist in maintaining finish and appearance.

It should be noted that  many everyday chemicals can generate discolouration of Sterling Silver

and in some instances permanent damage.

Chemicals such as bleach, chlorine and some heavy-duty household cleaners can contribute to this.

It is always a good idea to be mindful of the risks and remove jewellery where necessary.
